Mikomicon 2007
Summary by Nick
Mikomicon 2007 marked the first-year anniversary of the DEEP SEKH Tournament. We were welcomed back by a gracious Convention staff, and we were greeted with double the attendance of the previous year!
We had several players show up after the tournament had all ready started and some players needed to drop out halfway through the tournament, both of which gummed up the works a bit. Nonetheless, everyone had fun and we had great representation of all four factions (particularly the aasimar, drow, thorns and tieflings). Our great mix of characters seemed to satisfy everyone, and there was even a representative of Wizards of the Coast at hand to help show new players the ropes. He was even kind enough to hand out some WotC freebies to our group for all the spirit they showed. All in all a fantastic event.

Goals for Next Convention
I found that there was an awful lot of explaining to do at the beginning of the game; there are enough minor rules changes and observances to be made at the beginning of the game, I think it's really, REALLY important to finish the rules documentation.
- Complete rules card for players to review before the start of the tournament
- Future tournaments will allow for up to one hour at the beginning to review rules and build teams.
