CONDuit XVII - 2007

CONDuit XVII met expectations. After an initial scheduling fiasco, we managed to procure a gaming group totaling 8 individuals Saturday morning. The players were enthusiastic and after implementing the new scoring system, we had our first game end in a landslide victory (final score: 40-140). We tried the new respawn-on-death idea, which seemed to go over well. The game was a bit chaotic with players coming and going over the course of the game; gameplay was rocky, though managed very well despite widely varied experience at the table.

CONDuit XVII was the first convention to see the following:
- Over 50 playable characters!
- Barbarians, paladins, favored souls, soulborn, dragon shamans, scouts, marshals and knights!
- Bugbears, humans, sharakim, aasimar, elves, hobgoblins, dwarves, orcs, goliaths and more!
- Four different binders, with one per faction!
- The end of multi-faction characters!
- Integration of Victory Point system!
- First Law vs. Chaos battle!
- Integration of psionics and blade magic systems!
Goals for Next Convention
- Even more playable characters.
- Greater diversity between factions.
- Brand-new, homebrew tactical maps.
- Unique and/or map-specific, non-Deathmatch objectives.
